To not think, to not calculate, to not explore memories, to not make future plans for a moment…How does one step back from the dense labyrinth of thoughts, from this human desire to analyze reality as well as the emotional backgrounds and look at it from the outside/above/below? To just be - in the absolute emptiness of self, with nothing in everything - is the exquisite mastery of existence.
This one-off piece is entirely handbuilt & handcrafted. The surface is glazed with transparent matt glaze, the inside is glazed with watertight glaze. High-fired at 1225°C. Suitable for water storage.
