Vasara
Vasara (Summer in Lithuanian) - is a series of vases, with their traditional shapes, natural clay surface and delicate plant fragments, bringing in a nostalgic feeling of the warmest time of the year. Something from childhood, something on grandma's table, something in an old village house on a white linen tablecloth. This is a vessel that can be used both to hold a drink and to decorate the environment with a bouquet of flowers. The simplicity of this vase lies in the millennia-tested tradition of classical ceramics, its continuity and durability.
This one-of-a-kind piece is entirely handbuilt & handcrafted. The surface is kept raw, unglazed, leaving the natural texture of red chamotte clay sensible. Glazed inside. High-fired at 1200°C. Suitable for water storage.
Dimensions: H 27cm x Ø 20cm (red one) , H 22cm x Ø 10cm (yellow one) , H 21cm x Ø 12cm (white one)
